Ubuntu 5.10 Perfect Setup Guide is a very good start for using ubuntu as a server.

Even I believe Debian still is the best for server, ubuntu still worth a try for us.

Actually, I am searching for a programming language like Ruby for my entire life. (Sound like found a girlfriend call “Ruby”, right?) The vision of Ruby really fit my usage and expectation to a programming language. Ruby on Rails speed up the development time a lot and let you use more time for inventing the application instead of learning the language.

I hope I can learn more on it and build some web application by it later on.

Thank you for my blog friend’s invite, so that I can have a good place to store my technical notes in interesting areas. The title will adding more and more things soon.

Why I start using english to write this notes? Because personally I want more person to know the knowledge that I want to share with the world. I believe share more, you will get more after all.

Also, I believe one day my own server will be down and I will lost all data eventually. I don’t have much money to buy expensive hardware just for running a blog. I tried blogger before, but I used to deal with wordpress for over one year already, so wordpress.com’s free offer is a really good news to me. It default already install so many useful plug-in, and I don’t have to waste more time to config one out.

By the way, I know I need to practise my english more and more
